12/15/2009 - ATAS COMMAND LEAGUE: ATAS Command is in the process of recruiting players for its air-soft league. Anyone interested in joining, may do so. Teams are based upon geographic counties. Each team is comprised of 5 to 15 members.
There are currently 2 age groups (9 to 15 years old) and (16 years and up). More information can be obtained via the forum board under the ATAS Command section.
10/21/2009 - PUMPKIN THROWING CONTEST: Ancient Times has just announced that they have just started on the planning stages for their first annual pumpkin throwing contest. It will be
held in the fall of 2010, in conjuction with the grand opening of their first retail store. "We have along ways to go before it can go off. We sent a request to City of Cumberland Councilman Brian Grimm asking
if they would be willing to help out in any way. We are still awaiting a reply. "We are hoping that they are willing to play in active role in the
development of this event, since it will have a direct impact on the city," Chris Rumphrey, owner of Ancient Times stated. "We are trying to push as much information about the event to the public as possible, so
that we not only get several much needed volunteers, but also build up an excitement about the contest," he continued."
The event has several openings available for those that wish to volunteer their time. The various positions are listed on the company's website www.AncientTimesOnline.com The staff members will be conducting most
meetings via by secure forum board. Volunteers do not have to have any special skills, but an eager desire to see the event through.
10/15/09 - FORUM BOARD: Our forum board is now up and running. You can do alot of different things there. Whether you just want to chat about something on your mind, or are looking for a specific
information in regards to your sport of choice - you will be able get it there. Since the board just got started, we are not only looking for new members for it, but for members to be moderators. Moderators
keep their board section in check, by approving new topics and making sure mmbers obey the boards' rules. If you are interested in this, please let us know.
